The law firm of Coolidge Wall Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce that Christopher J. Hartman and Patrick Martin recently have joined the firm. Mr. Hartman’s work focuses primarily on tax and estate planning, real estate, and financial transactions. Mr. Martin is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Business Department.
Mr. Hartman’s prior experience as a Certified Public Accountant at a large accounting firm gives him a unique perspective on tax and estate issues and complex financial transactions. He also has experience representing clients in trials and formal appeals. In law school, Mr. Hartman actively participated as a member of the National Moot Court Honor Society, advancing to the quarter finals in both appellate and trial competitions. Prior to graduation, he received recognition from Syracuse University for completing more than 30 hours of community service.
Mr. Martin is a second career attorney whose previous experience was in financial and operational executive positions at fortune 50 companies. He also has significant financial and operational experience in start-up organizations and closely-held business entities. At Coolidge Wall, Mr. Martin partners with clients in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, contracts, vendor agreements, customer agreements, employment agreements and real estate matters, and he provides clients strategic guidance in financial and operational business planning. Mr. Martin graduated cum laude from the University of Dayton School of Law and was awarded a President’s Scholarship. He also served as a Staff Writer and Comment Editor for the University of Dayton Law Review.
