Robert started with Coolidge as a law clerk while he was still attending law school. He focuses his practice on representing clients with complex commercial real estate projects. His expertise includes advising clients on the governance and management of partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations. Robert also represents clients involved in business transactions, including acquisitions and partnership buyouts.
In addition, Robert was named a 2024 Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” in Real Estate Law.
Ben counsels private and public sector employers in personnel matters, employment litigation, and collective bargaining. His experience includes appearing before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC). He helps clients navigate the intricacies of federal and state employment laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Title VII and anti-discrimination laws. He advocates for clients in labor negotiations and collective bargaining. Ben also advises municipal clients on a host of critical concerns of local governments (Ohio Public Records law, Open Meetings Act, zoning, housing issues, public nuisance law, drafting legislation, pre-disciplinary conferences, and internal investigations).
